Please read these terms carefully before booking a vehicle with 4Drive Georgia. By completing a reservation, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of vehicles from 4Drive Georgia ("we", "us", "our", "4Drive"). When you make a booking through our website or by contacting us directly, you ("the renter", "you", "your") enter into a binding agreement with 4Drive Georgia.
Vehicle: Any car, SUV, van or other motor vehicle rented from 4Drive Georgia.
Rental Period: The period from pickup to drop-off as specified in the booking confirmation.
Driver: The person named on the rental agreement who is authorised to drive the vehicle.
Additional Driver: Any person listed on the rental agreement as an additional authorised driver.
Deposit: 4Drive operates a no-deposit model. You are not required to provide a credit card deposit or security hold.
Insurance: Full CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) and third-party liability insurance included in the rental price.
2.1 Minimum Age: The driver must be at least 21 years old for economy and compact cars. For SUV and 4x4 vehicles, the minimum age is 23 years. A young driver surcharge may apply for drivers under 25 years of age.
2.2 Driving Licence: The driver must hold a valid full driving licence for at least 2 years. Licences issued in non-Latin script (for example, Arabic, Chinese, Georgian, Russian) must be accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP). Learner or provisional licences are not accepted.
2.3 Identification: The driver must present a valid passport or national ID card at pickup. The name on the licence and ID must match the name on the booking.
2.4 Additional Drivers: Any additional driver must meet the same age and licence requirements and must be present at pickup to be added to the rental agreement. An additional driver fee may apply.
3.1 Reservation: You can book a vehicle through our website, by email or by telephone. Your booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from 4Drive Georgia.
3.2 Payment Methods: We accept debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), credit cards and cash payment at pickup. No credit card is required and no deposit is blocked on your card.
3.3 Pricing: All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) or Georgian lari (GEL) and include full insurance (CDW and third-party liability), unlimited mileage and VAT. Optional extras such as child seats, GPS and additional drivers are charged separately.
3.4 Payment at Pickup: The full rental amount must be paid at the time of vehicle pickup. If paying by card, we accept chip-and-PIN or contactless payment. If paying in cash, payment is due in USD or GEL at the exchange rate on the day of pickup.
3.5 Fuel Policy: All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel. You must return the vehicle with a full tank. If the tank is not full, a refuelling charge will be applied based on the missing fuel plus a service fee.
4.1 Included Insurance: Every rental includes Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and third-party liability insurance. This covers damage to the vehicle and third-party claims up to the policy limits.
4.2 Excess: The insurance excess (deductible) is stated in your rental agreement. In the event of an accident or damage, you are responsible for the excess amount. The excess is typically waived if you purchase additional Super CDW or Zero Excess coverage at the time of booking.
4.3 Damage Reporting: You must report any accident, theft or damage to the vehicle immediately to 4Drive Georgia and to the local police. Failure to report an incident may invalidate your insurance coverage.
4.4 Excluded Damage: Insurance does not cover damage caused by reckless driving, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, off-road driving (except on designated 4x4 routes for suitable vehicles), tyre or windscreen damage (unless caused by collision), or driving outside Georgia without prior written authorisation.
5.1 Authorised Drivers: Only drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle. Allowing an unauthorised person to drive invalidates your insurance and rental agreement.
5.2 Territorial Limits: The vehicle may be driven within the territory of Georgia. If you wish to drive outside Georgia, you must obtain written permission from 4Drive Georgia in advance. Additional insurance and fees may apply.
5.3 Prohibited Use: The vehicle must not be used for: (a) racing, rallying or any speed contest; (b) towing or pushing another vehicle; (c) transporting illegal goods or passengers for hire; (d) driving on beaches, riverbeds or other unsuitable terrain (unless the vehicle is a designated 4x4 and the route is approved); (e) any illegal activity.
5.4 Road Rules: Georgia drives on the right-hand side of the road. You must comply with all Georgian traffic laws, including speed limits (50 km/h in urban areas, 90 km/h on rural roads, 110 km/h on highways) and blood alcohol limits (0.03%). Seat belts are compulsory for all passengers.
5.5 Smoking: All vehicles are non-smoking. A cleaning fee of USD 100 will be charged if the vehicle is returned with evidence of smoking inside.
6.1 Pickup Locations: Vehicles can be collected at Tbilisi Airport (TBS), Kutaisi Airport (KUT), Batumi Airport (BUS), or delivered to your hotel or address in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi or other agreed locations. Delivery fees may apply outside major centres.
6.2 Pickup Procedure: At pickup, you must present your driving licence, passport or ID, and payment. We will inspect the vehicle with you and note any existing damage on the rental agreement. You will be given the keys, vehicle documents and our 24-hour contact number.
6.3 Drop-off: The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location by the date and time stated in your rental agreement. Late returns may incur additional charges. If you need to extend your rental, contact us as soon as possible - we will do our best to accommodate you, subject to availability.
6.4 One-Way Rentals: One-way rentals (pickup in one city and drop-off in another) are available on request. A one-way fee may apply depending on the route.
6.5 After-Hours Drop-off: If returning the vehicle outside office hours, you must notify us in advance and park the vehicle in the designated area. You remain responsible for the vehicle until we have inspected it and confirmed its return.
7.1 Mechanical Breakdown: In the event of a mechanical breakdown, contact 4Drive Georgia immediately on the number provided in your rental documents. We will arrange recovery or a replacement vehicle at no additional cost, provided the breakdown was not caused by your misuse of the vehicle.
7.2 Accidents: If you are involved in an accident, stop immediately, ensure your safety and that of any passengers, call the emergency services if needed, and report the accident to us and to the police. You must obtain a police report for insurance purposes.
7.3 Theft: If the vehicle is stolen, report it to the police immediately and obtain a police report. Notify 4Drive Georgia within 24 hours. If you have left the vehicle unlocked or left the keys inside, your insurance may not cover the loss.
8.1 Cancellation by You: You may cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before pickup may incur a cancellation fee of one day's rental charge. No-shows (failure to collect the vehicle without notice) will be charged the full rental amount.
8.2 Changes: You may modify your booking (dates, pickup location, vehicle type) subject to availability. Changes made less than 48 hours before pickup may incur an amendment fee.
8.3 Cancellation by 4Drive: We reserve the right to cancel a booking if the vehicle becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control (for example, accident, theft, mechanical failure). In such cases, we will offer you an equivalent or superior vehicle at no extra cost, or a full refund if no suitable alternative is available.
9.1 Your Liability: You are liable for any damage to the vehicle, fines, tolls and parking charges incurred during the rental period. You are also liable for the cost of replacing lost or stolen keys, documents or equipment.
9.2 Fines and Penalties: You are responsible for all traffic fines, parking fines and toll charges incurred during the rental. If we receive a fine after the rental, we will notify you and charge your card (or send you an invoice) for the fine amount plus an administration fee.
9.3 Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold 4Drive Georgia harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages or costs arising from your use of the vehicle, including third-party claims for injury or property damage.
10.1 Data Collection: We collect your personal data (name, contact details, driving licence information, payment details) to process your booking and comply with legal requirements. Your data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10.2 Data Sharing: We do not sell your data to third parties. We may share your data with our insurance provider, payment processor and law enforcement if required by law.
10.3 Marketing: We may send you promotional offers by email if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link in our emails.
11.1 Complaints: If you have any complaint about our service, please contact us at the details provided on our Contact page. We aim to resolve all complaints within 7 working days.
11.2 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any disputes arising from your rental will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Georgia.
4Drive Georgia is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, strikes, epidemics or government restrictions. In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative solution or refund.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Changes do not affect bookings already confirmed unless required by law.
